Roblox How to Fish: Trickshot Casting Mechanics & Multipliers
Standard straight casts get the job done, but veteran anglers capitalize on the game's custom trajectory physics. Bouncing your bobber off rock faces, cliffs, or wooden structures registers a Trickshot Bonus, amplifying your final catch sell value by up to 2.0x!

How to Execute Consistent Cliff Rebounds
- 1Find an Overhanging Cliff: The best locations are the high basalt spires on Rocks Island or the rocky ridge behind the lighthouse on Stage 1.
- 2Aim for a 45-Degree Angle: Do not cast directly perpendicular into flat stone. Angle your crosshair 40–45 degrees along the rock wall so the bobber deflects forward into the sea.
- 3Charge Power to 85–90%: Full 100% casts often bounce too far into shallow water. 85% gives optimal arc trajectory and triggers the “Trickshot!” screen notification upon splashdown.
