Roblox How to Fish: Island Progression & Radar Radar Map
Stranded after a violent ocean storm, your vessel cannot blindly travel the foggy open waters. You must unlock each island's unique radar frequency by obtaining its territorial boss trophy and handing it over to key NPC navigators.
Lighthouse Island — Starter Haven & The Crab Shore
The fateful starting point where your fishing vessel wrecked upon jagged shallows. Shelters an ancient stone lighthouse, friendly local merchants, and the territorial Spider Crab.
Empty Beer Can (Quest Item)
Required trigger to lure the boss out of deep waters. Obtained from local island NPCs.
HP: 650 • Novice
Charges straight ahead. If it hits an obstacle, it becomes dizzy for 4s. A white stamina bar indicates its escape timer; down it before it retreats into the tide.
Combat Knife ($25) or Brass Knuckles ($50)
Trophy: Crab Shell, 150 Cash, Boat Keys unlock
- Head to the Island Merchant shack and purchase a cold Can of Beer for $12.
- Bring the beer to The Lighthouse Keeper; he drinks it and gives you the Empty Beer Can bait.
- Equip the Empty Beer Can on your rod and cast into the churning waters near the lighthouse jetty.
- Hook and summon the territorial Spider Crab boss onto the beach.
- Dodge the crab's forward charge into beach boulders to trigger its 4-second dizzy stun.
- Loot the Crab Shell trophy and return it to the Lighthouse Keeper to claim the Boat Keys and unlock Forest Island on radar.
Forest Island — Jungle Swamps & The Piranha Lagoon
A dense mangrove jungle surrounded by winding freshwater streams and an eerie mist-veiled inland lake teeming with flesh-eating river predators.
Modified Leech
Required trigger to lure the boss out of deep waters. Obtained from local island NPCs.
HP: 1,800 • Intermediate
Summons waves of smaller piranhas that swarm the player. High burst bite damage. Requires continuous repositioning and shotgun spread control.
Pump Shotgun ($450)
Trophy: Giant Piranha Skeleton, 450 Cash, Desert Island Coordinates
- Explore the inland dirt paths and grassy patches to collect 3 wild Leeches on foot (do not fish in water for these).
- Deliver the 3 Leeches to the Lady by the Lake to receive the Modified Leech lure.
- Attach the Modified Leech and cast into the deep center of the forest lagoon.
- The Giant Piranha emerges alongside a swarm of 5–8 aggressive minion piranhas.
- Use the Shotgun to clear minion waves with wide pellet spreads while kiting backwards.
- Collect the Giant Piranha Skeleton and turn it in to the Lady to unlock the Desert Island radar frequency.
Desert Island — Sunken Dunes & The Toxic Oasis
Blistering white sand dunes bordered by turquoise atolls. Contains rare endangered marine species, the renowned Grill Master culinary station, and poisonous blowfish.
Carrot Bait
Required trigger to lure the boss out of deep waters. Obtained from local island NPCs.
HP: 3,500 • Challenging
Inflates periodically to deflect melee attacks and spews purple poison clouds that deal lingering damage. Rapid dash charges.
Submachine Gun (SMG, $650)
Trophy: Pufferfish Fin, 1,200 Cash, Rocks Island Coordinates, Grill Station access
- Fish the surrounding atoll waters with Standard Lures to hook an Endangered rarity fish (Needlefish, Seahorse, or Bowlfish).
- Deliver the Endangered specimen to the Stranded Tourist to obtain the coveted Carrot Bait.
- Optionally complete the Grill Master sidequest by catching a Blue Shark with a Boss Lure to unlock permanent 1.5x fish cooking.
- Equip the Carrot Bait and cast into the deep ocean drop-off.
- The Giant Pufferfish spawns, inflating and shooting toxic purple gas plumes.
- Keep high mobility with the SMG, firing sustained bursts while avoiding the toxic trail.
- Loot the Pufferfish Fin and hand it in to receive the Rocks Island radar signal.
Rocks Island — Craggy Cliffs & The Sky Hunter
Perilous basalt pillars and storm-tossed open ocean cliffs. Known for monstrous pelagic tuna and the giant apex avian predator, the Albatross.
Raw Tuna Carcass (Summoned with Pro Boss Lure)
Required trigger to lure the boss out of deep waters. Obtained from local island NPCs.
HP: 6,200 • Very High
Aerial dive attacks and high-altitude swoops. Renders shotguns and handguns ineffective due to distance. Extreme 450% line tension spikes during hook phase.
Scoped Sniper Rifle ($1,200)
Trophy: Albatross Head, 3,000 Cash, Volcano Island Coordinates
- Purchase the Professional Boss Lure for $1,200 from the Cave Tackle Quartermaster.
- Equip Heavy Braided Line to survive the intense 450% tension spikes.
- Hook and successfully battle a colossal deep-water Tuna.
- DO NOT cook, sell, or gamble the Tuna! Carry the fresh carcass to the flat stone sacrificial ledge.
- Place the Tuna carcass on the rock slab; the gigantic Albatross dives from the clouds to feed.
- Engage the Albatross using the Scoped Sniper Rifle, landing 3.5x critical headshots as it loops overhead.
- Collect the Albatross Head and present it to Cliff Hunter Dennis to unlock Volcano Island.
Volcano Island — Molten Caldera & The Leviathan Deep
The climactic final destination of the archipelago. Geothermal volcanic vents plunge into molten magma trenches where the primordial Bowhead Whale dwells.
Scientific Hazmat Lure ($500)
Required trigger to lure the boss out of deep waters. Obtained from local island NPCs.
HP: 15,000 • Extreme (Endgame)
Two-stage encounter. Spawns tidal waves, seismic eruptions, and lava projectiles. Requires coordinated movement, high sustained DPS, and heat-resistant positioning.
Assault Rifle ($2,500) & Sniper Backup
Trophy: Thermal Navigation Core, 10,000 Cash, Endgame Game Win Flag
- Speak with Chief Scientist Vance in the yellow hazmat suit upon arrival.
- Purchase the Scientific Lure ($500) from the research outpost dispenser.
- Fish the volcanic magma-fed bays to catch and turn in 5 thermal fish specimens.
- Receive the Geothermal Tracker and summon the titanic Bowhead Whale.
- Phase 1: Battle the Bowhead Whale as it summons tidal waves and tail sweeps.
- Phase 2: The defeated beast absorbs volcanic heat, mutating into the glowing Magma Bowhead Whale!
- Sustain continuous automatic fire with the Assault Rifle to tear through its 15,000 HP pool.
- Claim the Thermal Navigation Core, repair your flagship vessel, and complete the escape sequence home!
